Dear Wonderful People,
I just wanted to take a moment this morning to keep you up dated on our wonderful gift Mr. Wags. He has brought sooooo much to our household. After giving him a bath Sunday evening he spent the night in our bed since we did not have a cage yet for him. He did wonderfully there. We took him to the puppy recess with our other dog and our childrens dogs and he fit in like he had been there all his life. He and our Black Lab get along like two peas in a pod. As I am writing this I am looking over my shoulder and Mr. Wags in sleeping soundly in our bed. He did however spend last night in his new cage with a brand new flannel blanket that I made for him.He did wonderful in it. All our family dogs have hand made blankets. He loves to play in our pen with our dogs and the millions of toys we have. If you will let us know when you are going to be back at Pet Smart in Beavercreek we will try our best to bring him up to see you. He went to the vet last night and got a good bill of health. We love him to pieces so I doubt that he will be brought back We will be sending you digital pictures probably this weekend. You are wonderful people and you love your animals we can tell and so can they. Please have a wonderful week and keep up the love.
Thanks Again,
Linda Shimko (Mr. Wags Mom)

Hi Guys,
It's Daisy's Family, Just wanted to let you know we are still just as happy and thrilled to have Daisy as part of our family!! I am sorry we have not been able to stop in and see you a show Daisy off, But it has been a lil crazy with the Holidays and stuff!! Of course we had to introduce Daisy to our extended family, we had a house full...Daisy was very polite and made sure everyone knew that WE are her family now, she was very protective of my son(2) an daughter(12) and of course she didn't let anyone sit in her recliner very long, she would make her rounds and get attention from everyone here and then head back to the living room, where she would whine and whimper if someone was in her chair, of course it didn't take long for the chair to become empty, we told everyone that if they sat in her chair she would gently nudge them up and if that didn't work then she would jump in there lap (Daisy thinks she is a lap dog) I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful Daisy is with our 2 yr. old son, he will say sit and she sits, he will tell her to lay down, she does, he tells her to go night night and she covers her face with her paws...It is the cutest!!! When we are gone and come back the first thing our son does is yell for Daisy and he gets so excited when he sees her running towards him, hugs & kisses have never stopped, we thought maybe after having her a lil while he would not be as excited to see her, but if anything his loves grows more with each setting sun!!! My husband and I sit and watched them play in the snow and chase balls, they even play hide and go seek, Daisy always win that game but our son doesn't seem to mind!! We cannot begin to express to you how thankful we are for our Daisy, She has given us so much, she has filled gap's that we didn't know we had in our lives...We will always be grateful for you and your service for giving Daisy One More Chance!!!
              Love and Prays
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas

Hi guys,
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that we all love having Daisy in our home & hearts!!!! I know that we have only had her 12 hours but they have been wonderful & heart felt hour's!!! Daisy is such a great dog, she has been so patient with our 2 yrs. old son and our 12 yrs. Old daughter...We have all been begging Daisy to come to each of us, so we can pet and love on her!!! I think she is tired of being loved on...LoL!!! Daisy came in our home and acted like she had lived here her whole life, she went straight to the kitchen so we fed & watered her, after that she climbed up into my husbands recliner and rested her head on the arm and gave us that
sweet angelic look like woooooooo I am finally home!!!!!!!! My husband looked at me and said honey guess we need to add a recliner
to our Christmas list!!! LoL!!!! We let Daisy run & play in our back yard, of course we video it, and took pictures!!! We all laughed and had a great time....It was the first time in a while we have all been together having that much fun!!! I cannot thank you enough for allowing us to adopt our ANGEL!!!! We gave her a good bath and added a lil dog smell good and then she was ready for bed....Bet you can't guess where she is sleeping??? Daisy has taken up more than her share of my daughters bed and she is a blanket hog!!! (my daughter doesn't mind) Well I guess I have bragged enough, I just wanted to let you know how very pleased we are with our lil Angel Daisy!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!

Good Afternoon
You'll be glad to know that Beethoven is doing well. He's sleeping here on "his" couch next to me right now. We went on a two-mile hike today. He and Buddy get along great. There was a day not too long ago that Buddy was gone and Beethoven didn't know what to do with himself. Beethoven has become a big part of our family, and not just because he weighs 140 pounds! He came to us at Christmastime, and everyone in our family (including our other pets) loves him. We first met him when One More Chance was at PETSMART about 18 months ago. We weren't able to get him then, but we told our children that either Beethoven would have been adopted by another family, or we would check about him sometime in the future. Either way would have been good for him. Luckily for us, Beethoven was still available when we saw him again. While his size puts some people off when they first meet him, he wins them over with his quiet personality. He's become a great companion for our two-year-old golden retriever, and all three of our teenage children. Our dog groomers refer to him as a "perfect gentleman." The folks at One More Chance did a great job of caring for Beethoven, but nothing can replace a good home for a good dog. We're proud to have given Beethoven a good home, but really, he's given us a lot more than we've given him.
